Progression routes

With our courses there is a clear progression route for your child’s involvement with music.

First Year

Autumn term and Spring term core musicianship classes including moving, clapping, singing, African percussion and African flute in preparation for learning an instrument.

Summer term small-group instrumental lessons supported by motivating and engaging online videos in our Members area. Choose an instrument

Second Year

Instrumental lessons for your child’s chosen instrument as they progress through our G.Y.M. levels, with the addition of pop band ensemble classes for one half-term during the year.

Third Year and beyond

As your child progresses, they will continue to have instrumental lessons, with option of taking exams, and ensemble classes. Once they reach a certain standard, you will also have the option to choose individual or group tuition with a recommended specialist teacher.
